 Welcome to MelanieBostic.com, a collection of original oil paintings by North Carolina artist Melanie Bostic. Melanie began oil painting in 2003 when she enrolled in an oil painting class at her local community college. She has always had an artistic side, creating simple drawings and colorings as a child. Over the years, Melanie explored other types of art mainly through art classes in school. With art class always being one of her favorite classes, it was only natural for her to continue to explore her creative side after college by enrolling in an oil painting class over six years ago. Today, Melanie enjoys painting still lifes, animal portraits, landscapes and any image that ignites her artistic passions. Melanie occasionally takes art classes in her community to surround herself with other local artists and to share artistic ideas. |
